Jude Law as Dr John Watson & Robert Downey, Jr as Sherlock Holmes. Referenced from a production still from the 2009 Sherlock Holmes.

#2 pencil & black Prismacolour on 50lb Canson sketch paper. I didn't fill the whole page -- this image is 9x7 inches. Background cleaned up & contrast adjusted here & there in Photoshop. Eyeballed it this time, instead of using a grid.

There's a lot of images from this movie that I like, so I plan on doing more -- hence the "1". Whether life will cooperate is another story. XD Also, I think maybe next time I won't use the prismacolour. :/

Awww, thank you, hon, for the fave, too! (Sorry for the delayed response!) I really need to do more with these two -- I put aside a bunch of screencaps but never got around to it ....

They look great Pup!

Oddly enough, I think your using grids for other pieces has improved your non-grid work... does that make any sense?

I like your technique. The faces are really well done and the expressions are excellent! :D Oh, and I never ever use a grid, it kills all creativity for me. It works for some people though. :)

Thanks! :D I didn't used to use grids, but a couple of years ago, I decided to try it to help me with accuracy with spacing with bigger projects, and it has helped me. It's just that they're such a pain in the ass to make. XD This was small enough that I didn't need one -- didn't have too much trouble. :)
